ito road casualties uk [itoworld.com] by itoworld, experts on complex transport data, is a map that reveals virtually every reported fatality and injury that occurred on the roads in Great Britain as a result of a collision involving a motor vehicle between 2000 and 2010.

The icons provide additional information about each accident, such as whether the victim was killed, seriously injured or slightly injured and the mode of transport that was used, in addition to the person's age, gender and the year in which the crash took place.

Itoworld recently announced that an US version of this road casualties map will be launched in the coming week. After reviewing the map through a color blindness filter, they even decided to change the colors to be more suitable for red/green color blind users.
